ACRIN studies evaluate whether new imaging technologies or methods aid in the following:

  • Diagnosing cancer
  • Predicting an individual’s response to a specific treatment
  • Helping to monitor the spread of cancer to other parts of the body
  • Slowing the growth of cancer

This section organizes ACRIN studies according to the organ site of the cancer (breast, lung, liver, colon, etc). The studies within each organ site are further grouped according to whether:

  1. Participants are being actively recruited
  2. Enrollment of participants is complete
  3. Final study results are available

Below each study title are links to two versions of a downloadable patient-friendly brochure that outlines:

  • The research question being investigated
  • The requirements for eligibility
  • The imaging technique used
  • The length of the study
  • The specific interventions involved

Another link allows you to view the list of facilities participating in the study, along with contact information.
